Hazle Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania

HAZLE TWP VOLUNTEER FIRE & RESCUE CO., INC. proudly protects over 10,000 people living in an area of 52 square miles.
We operate out of two stations. We are a public department with all volunteer members. Incorporated in 1976, we have over 70 active
members serving the community of Hazle Township, located in lower Luzerne County, North Eastern Pennsylvania.

To defray operating costs, the fire company conducts an Annual Fund Drive and periodic fund raisers. The Ladies Auxiliary has an active
role in supporting the activities and mission of the company. Interested residents are invited to stop into Station 1 or to call the
administrative office.

Hazle Township Fire Department operates to protect the lives and properties of the residents and visitors of Hazle Township. Members
include Firefighters, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Fire Police. We also actively support a Junior Firefighter program
for teens age 14 to 17 interested in the fire service.

We are always looking for new people to lend a hand! No experience necessary!
